Production/Fulfillment Manager ~ Impact Messaging
Cate is a Nashville, TN native with a heart for nonprofits. At an early age, international mission trips developed her awareness and care for the poor and marginalized. She believes in developing a philanthropic culture for future generations, ensuring nonprofits thrive through interdependent community, generous compassion and advocacy for our neighbors.
Cate will forever be a Tarheel, having attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), where she majored in Religious Studies and minored in Entrepreneurship. Through her rich liberal arts education, she learned to marry her intellectual pursuits with her business mind to alleviate the world’s problems through human-centered solutions.
She started her career living and working in inner-city Memphis as a Development Coordinator for the Binghampton Development Corporation, a Christian Community Development nonprofit. She then took on the position of Director of Student Programming for the Minor in Entrepreneurship at UNC. There, she coached ambitious students inside and outside the classroom on their innovative endeavors. And, as her desire for impact on a national scale grew, Cate became the Associate Director of the Laity Lodge Leadership Initiative for the HEB Family Foundation where she built vocational-discernment programs for faith-based entrepreneurs.
Currently, Cate brings her diverse nonprofit experience to her role as production/fulfillment manager, where she increases impact by helping nonprofits tell their story in a way that calls communities to action. Most days, you’ll find Cate building marketing strategies, launching campaigns, creating sharp communications tools and increasing brand awareness through digital and multimedia channels.
She lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her precious pup, Ellie, and her adventure-loving husband, Will, where he serves as a Pastor at a local church.
